Refund policy

The plan
SiteOps paid plans are subscriptions, monthly or annual, and they renew automatically. Some plans start at an intro price for the first month or first year; after that they renew at the regular price shown at checkout. You can cancel at any moment — cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and you keep full access until then.
Who takes your payment
Our checkout is run by Paddle.com as merchant of record: the charge on your statement comes from Paddle, and Paddle issues the invoice and sorts sales tax or VAT. That also means every refund is processed by Paddle, back to the payment method you used.
When we refund
If SiteOps didn’t work the way we promised — or you simply changed your mind — write to support@siteops.mewithin 14 days of any charge, first payment or renewal, and we’ll refund it in full. No interrogation. You can also raise the request with Paddle through the receipt email they sent you.
A refund is always the amount you actually paid: if your first month was at an intro price, that intro amount comes back — and the intro price is used up, so subscribing again later starts at the regular price.
Annual plans
Annual payments get the same 14 days. On top of that, if you cancel within 30 days of an annual charge, we’ll refund the unused months pro rata. After 30 days that year is non-refundable, but cancelling still stops the next renewal.
We also refund
- Charges caused by a billing error on our side.
- Duplicate charges for the same subscription.
- A period when SiteOps was down for more than 72 hours straight because of us.
How refunds arrive
We answer refund emails within 5 business days, usually much faster. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and land back on your payment method, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Ad spend is separate
Money you spend on Google, Meta or TikTok ads goes to those networks through your own ad accounts — it never passes through SiteOps or Paddle, so we can’t refund it. Pausing your ads in SiteOps stops that spending immediately.
